My wife asked me to sell my motorcycle after the birth of our first daughter. I said no unless I can buy an STI, she said yes. The one I found had one owner who returned it back to stock I do not know what was done but I know there was a dash pod in at one time, everything else looked stock. After a while I decided to build it out. That started with an exhaust and tune made good power but EPA told me no. I had cats on it but they were not California compliant so I had to go stock. I was moving to a state that does not test emissions so I had the engine rebuilt he had a 2011 block to house all the part upgrades I gave him. Drove it for 20k and decided it was time to go all the way. I ordered the parts while they were shipping I began the breakdown process only to find out all the frames were lost in transit so 14 months went by and the parts magically appeared on my doorstep. My contract at the USPS loss prevention told me she had no idea how it got to me there no shipments scheduled, I suffered a lot with parts being shipped back to the main land having to repay shipping because I was not home to sign was not allowed to schedule pickups, its kinda crazy here I don’t recommend moving to Hawaii. After about 5 years of working on the car when I can and having no way to get parts or a tuner plus the Biden admin banning tuners, I finally was able to get a proper setup, now I’m working with my tuner to get her running again.
