Brought a 2012 wrx with a compression problem, none running, it a built car with all these mods already on it running a Haltech 2500, I removed the engine and found out tha the exhaust cam ate through the valve bucket at the same time ate the cam, valve retainer, I then found a 2014 sti sedan with a blown head gasket none running for cheap, so I took the engine out, took off the heads and sent it out to reshave make flat, so I took off the heads from the built Wrx block and put the sti heads on and into the sti sedan, the sti sedan came with a Cobb access port already. Put the engine combo into the sedan now. I haven driven the sti however I can start it and idle I see its in the high 12-13 on the air fuel gauge, but not driven because it doesn’t run right/good with these 1050x injectors. I’m hoping to finally drive it. I’m looking to upgrade to bigger injectors/turbo/fuel pump in the future and on the Haltech ecu if possible. Right now I want to max out this turbo see where the whp lands then my goal is 550-600 whp on the upgraded set up. What’s your prospective?
